Interesting. I have the original vinyl and also the CD. Somewhere, I also have a cassette copy that a friend sent me so I could hear the album before I bought it. Will have to check this out. I know that there is a Bandcamp version of "Knowledge and Innocence" which has extra stuff on it - is there one of "Briefing"?

Strangely, I don't see Briefing... on Bandcamp at all.

Edit: there's a third disc in the Doppelganger collector's edition!?!

The CD version starts at a point about 1:20 into the LP version. Thus, the intro (footsteps etc.), the 1st verse & 1st chorus are all cut off.


Recent observation: The CD version has verse 1 cut off, as mentioned, but the printed lyrics still reflect the order of the LP version (i.e., "You come to me" before "The stars come nightly").

The Bandcamp version has both solo albums on the one release. I didn't see that until I read your post and took another look.
