     | O Canada!
 Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

 From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

That's funny, I'm getting my US Work Visa next week to exit Canada and work in the US for three months.

 Welcome to Canada,
 It's the Maple Leaf State.
 Canada, oh Canada it's great!
The people are nice and they speak French too.
If you don't like it, man, you sniff glue.
The Great White North, their kilts are plaid,
Hosers take off, it's not half bad.
I want to be where yaks can run free,
Where Royal Mounties can arrest me.

 Let's go to Canada,
 Let's leave today,
 Canada, oh, Canada,
 I Sil Vous Plait.

 They've got trees,
 And mooses, and sled dogs,
Lots of lumber, and lumberjacks, and logs!
We all think it's kind of a drag,
That you have to go there to get milk in a bag.
They say "eh?" instead of "what?" or "duh?"
That's the mighty power of Canada!
I want to be where lemmings run into the sea,
Where the marmosets can attack me.

 Let's go to Canada,
 Let's leave today,
 Canada, oh, Canada,
 I Sil Vous Plait.

 Let's go to Canada,
 Let's leave today,
 Canada, oh, Canada,
 I Sil Vous Plait.

 Please, please, explain to me,
How this all has come to be,
We forgot to mention something here.
Did we say that William Shatner is a native citizen?
 And Slurpees made from venison,
 That's deer.

 Let's go to Canada,
 Let's leave today,
 Canada, oh, Canada,
 I Sil Vous Plait.

 Let's go to Canada,
 Let's leave today,
 Canada, oh, Canada,
 I Sil Vous Plait.

     | I've been told that I wouldn't be allowed in Canada, due to some, ehem, indiscretions during my crazy twenties that involved a run in with the law. Oh well...

 dude!
 - I actually sang that song on home plate at a baseball game- with woggy.
they have a local team here in town and had tryouts for "singing the anthem" at the start of the game (this was bout 4 summers ago now)
I told wog if we learned Oh Canada- we'd be a shoo in.- cuz the Duluth Dukes played Thunder bay on the Schedule- sure nuff..we sang Oh CAnada first- and they said- "yer in" without hearing the SS Banner!
It was a fun moment- free hot dogs and the best seats in the house..
It doesnst take much to make this fella happy.
we had a fine night- and them Kanucks whipped our donkeys! (think it was 6 to 2.)

     | (this is not word for word- but close enough- from an epi of My name is Earl)

Earl: “Randy, if things get any worse round here-we’ll get caught for sure. I don’t like it. Maybe we should just flee to Canada”

Randy: “That would be great , Earl. I’ve always loved Canada. It’s a cool country, .with that flag like a Pot leaf and all.”
