Just a note we posted to the DADL about current order
delays, etc... (also... check out our poll in the Polls
forum... let us know if you have any problems with Flash).
Just a little additional info about what is going on...
Right now, we're in the middle of a big mess of "old work"
that has to be taken care of... like the fan clubs for example.
Some of these things have been a problem at least for the last
year and a half. We're trying to "hurry" and fix all of that right
now so that we can get back to what works best. So, all of
this is causing some temporary problems and delays, but once
we get this stuff out of our hair - we should be back to just
filling regular orders and getting stuff released and/or re-released.
It's unclear what will happen to the clubs - thats up to Terry &
Mike. If they continue, they will be changed in some way... not
only to make them easier on the people that's shipping them out
(whether that ends up being us or the club volunteers), but also
hopefully to offer club members something more than what they
were offered before. If they decide to end them altogether, we'll
make sure everyone still gets what they're owed on current
subscriptions... if anyone resubscribed, we'll make sure they get
something special for their money.
The primary goal is to do a bit of "spring cleaning"... clean up
anything that is a problem or causes unnecessary delay. For
the last year and a half or so, we've had a lot of "extra" stuff
to do - usually without the money to do it. That's what we want
to get rid of now. It's been like trying to run several stores while
working two full time jobs. Not only has it not been the best
situation for customers, but it's been incredibly stressful on our
end. You can expect some major changes coming in the next
few months.
As far as new releases are concerned... theres a lot being talked
about right now. We're hoping to do another DVD or two this
year for one thing. We're also hoping to get some things reissued.
Terry is already talking about the next "major" release.... that'll
be exciting. We're also talking about some surprises that will
be available once that release is for sale.
It's gonna be a good year for the guys, once all of this other
junk is out of the way.

Do I really have to live within my means?

Hey, we're with you guys... |
 |
I understand all too well what it is like to try to do stuff like this while also working a "regular" job...
Understand that it's difficult for us too because, very often, the channels of communication are a tad constipated. But now that you're putting a little fruit into all of our baskets...
Wait, can I start over? This all sounds too awful...
Now that the old business is getting sorted out, we can get to all the good new stuff for 2004 (and I have to assume "When Everyone Wore Hats" is part of the old business... hint hint)
EDDIES FOREVER!
