Yes, 5 is artificially limiting, but it made me think hard about it. My list changes frequently, though the one's I listed are always near the top. It leaves out songs I absolutely love like Ghost of the Heart, Mall (All Over the World), Walls of Doubt, A Sigh for You, Joel, (What's Come) Over Me, Pregnant Pause, Your Long Year, William, Hollow Man, It's the Eighties, If You Want To....................
I didn't know that Soon! topped so many people's lists. That's refreshing to know.

Berger, you could drive Chandler insane by forcing him to tell us his 5 favorite Daniel Amos songs.

I have a friend who is a big Tori Amos fan. I gave a listen once, but not enough to get a good hold on the music. It was quirky (and I was interested), but the lyrics are so cryptic that I would have to give a REALLY good listen to figure them out (which isn't necessarily such a bad thing). I just haven't taken the time yet. I'm discovering The Clash right now.

Good thing to discover. My only question is how come you only hear "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" or "Rock the Casbah"? If that was all I ever heard from them, I would have lost interest many years ago.

Dude, that lady don't look like a dude! Me thinks you partook of the Palm Springs parade too long!
I think she's not exactly beautiful, but not exactly ugly or homely either. Perhaps intriguing or mysterious? Dunno. Not a fan.
