There's a ton of stuff in the DA webstore that I haven't gotten a hold of yet, and I don't have the dinero to to do it all in one fell swoop. Sooo...I'm asking you, the DA faithful, to assist me (not in a stupid "let America decide!" way. Just asking advice and honest opinions). So right now, it's pretty much between the live 85 DVD and the Prickly Heat Radio Players. Anybody have any helpful info as to why I might prefer one over the other? In the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: "I'd really appreciate it!"

The choice is (sorta) obvious.... |
|
I don't know anything about the 85 DVD, but you DON'T want the Prickly Heat Radio Players....

Bah! Don't listen to Carl. '85 Live is great concert nostalgia and Radio Players is silly, dumb fun. Buy one, then save up and buy the other.
Unfortunately, if we want new stuff, we have to buy the old stuff.
Besides, it's more fun to know the records so you're in on the jokes here.

Much appreciated, all. I love Miracle Faith Telethon , so Radio Players is tempting. However, I think I'm leaning towards the DA concert. I've never seen the guys live, looks like this might be my best chance
Until someday...

I would say the DVD. Prickley Heat is funny but it does
not have the musical content of Miracle Faith Telethon.
The majority of the release is a joke interveiw with Arthur
Fhardy and a guy that sounds like Camarillo... it's funny
but the release is not as beefed up with music as
Miracle Faith was.

I'd go with that.... bearing, of course, in mind the necessary editorial changes....

Go with what ever project when sales less cost of goods sold gives Terry the most money
Failing that go with the DVD. I enjoy radio players but I have never seen them live either....

if you get the dvd i don't want to hear you mocking any of the videos from the 1980's (ala flock of seagulls).
