What is TT's best solo album and why? |
|
I only have Neverhood Songs, John Wayne, and Briefing for the Ascent. Its a close call between the latter two; but I'd say John Wayne is my favorite, because of "It is Finished", "Ten Gallon Hat", and several other great songs.
I've been dying to hear "Knowledge and Innocence"; but its hard to fork 25 bucks over to Rad Rockers, which is the minimum amount to be paid to make a RR purchase.

Yes, I meant "You Lay Down"; and I like Petra's song "It is Finished" also. Be sure to get their new cd and crank it loud, btw.

John Wayne. Hands down. But if you liked Briefing you'd like K & I as well. I can't get into either, but I know others here swear by them.
P.S. Welcome back. Now, behave.

That one or AF, kind of a toss-up for me, depending on what mood I am in!

K & K for sure. I've used two songs from the disc at funerals and had many people ask me "Who is that"? A very personable disc, it can make you laugh and cry. One of my favorites.
Thanks Terry

I think they're competing with the Rolling Stones for most "best of" projects.
Petra:
"Petraphonics", "Petarafied", "War and Remembrance", "Power Praise".
Stones:
"Sucking in the 70's", "Hight Tide and Green Grass", "Hot Rocks", "More Hot Rocks", "Forty Licks", "Made in the Shade"
Petra just has two more to go. Of course if I actually went and looked at the Stones catalog thre would probably be like 500 other "best ofs" that I missed.

i DO NOT THINK WE ARE GETTING A CLEAR CONSENSUS HERE..........
When I'm quiet- I take K and I- or BFTA.....
When I wanna boomtown (one of MY faves of JW)
I go John Wayne
Plus Writers Block is FAB
If I fell in between- I go AF
Don't have neverhood- so I aint a real fan either.......
