     | When I was three the Beatles' White Album came out. I was poppin' zits and just getting my drivers' license when Alarma came out.

     | I was 24 and had just seen Daniel Amos & Randy Stonehill during the "Amos & Randy" Tour
at Bethel College. Speaking of which, a little side note, me and my posse were at Bethel College Saturday night (JiMiNy, DaLe, Dennis and bunch of other friends and relatives) and saw Phil Keaggy, or Ol' Whitey as we like to call him, for the fabulous "Master & Musician" concert.

     | I was 18, a freshman in college.

See if this doesn't say something...

I won Horrendous Disc (vinyl record) at a Scripture Press contest, then a few minutes later I won Alarma (8-track tape).

 Talk about old...

        | It just struck me on reading the previous... | | My Horrendous Disc vinyl record actually did have a bad scratch.

Inside joke... relax, I'm from the Midwest.

DA knew how to construct a song. I love all the intricate, inter-woven parts, the hooky guitar riffs, and the classic vocals...

Terry, I'm sorry that I'm so late in the game, but have mercy on me (this album came out when I was 3...and more into Bullfrogs & Butterflies than the LA underground scene!)!!

Anyways, iAlarma! HAS to be one of the best records I've ever heard...but I still have to absorb the rest of the DA catalog (and this takes great discipline, as my office desk is now graced with a lot of DA material I haven't yet heard...but I want to take my time with each release and not hurry it along).

 So yeah...I'm quite addicted.
 Thanks Terry & DA!

I'm glad you're getting to hear all the great music!

 ol' whitey LOL!

we have seen PK maybe 6 times now (once with a band in Knoxville during Crimson & Blue timeframe with Phil Madeira. can't remember if it was John Sferra and/or Wade Jaynes or others.) most of the times we saw him he had the black beret. the last time he didn't and were we shocked
... and then awed! that last time was in Johnson City, TN a few years back.
