        | DA - The Making of Buechners (DVD) | | We are still editing and should have a second near final edit to
send to the band real soon. The majority of the video is in place
(we think), but we're still working on interview segments and a few
oddities. The band may also want to make a few changes and/or
 add some additional commentary.

Our goal is to have it finished before Christmas - but, due to
some family health problems in the last month, we've been
moving a little slower on it than we wanted to. We can still
make it, but it's going to be rough. We definitely do not want
 to rush it though.

     | Well, I hate to say it - but you may want to consider taking money (preorder) to get in on the Christmas gift-giving season. Maybe this would rake in some extra dough for the band, because it's always tighter between Christmas and tax-season (for us anyways).

     | The main thing about doing a preorder we don't like at this point
is that there would be 3 things hanging out there from preorder
if we did it. Then when all of these things arrive we are flooded
with shipping a million things all at once. If we can find a way
around it we would rather do that. That causes a lot of headache
and unfortunate circumstances. For one, we have to check all
three lists to see if each person ordered all three. Secondly
when we send out tons of packages all at once, it seems a higher
percentage gets lost in the mail. Maybe our tiny town post office
 gets overwhelmed, I don't know.

I am rendering a copy of the DVD the last couple days so we can
send to Terry, Tim, Ed and Greg. We think its better than the last
one we sent, some of Tim's footage we didn't have before is real
helpful in making the thing more enjoyable. Probably send it off to
 the guys this week.

     | AUDI-
thats why I put it out as a whateva

I have heard some frustrations over past pre orders- and though I personally have some items out there, - i think its a great way to support the band - and will continue to do so when offered..

     | Yeah we understand. Sometimes it's the only option, even
if it's not the desired option. It does work and work well
to get some things out, that would not come out at all
 otherwise.

Everytime we do any preorder of any kind, we end up getting
extremely angry emails from people who either knew it
was a preorder when they ordered and forgot or just
didn't pay attention to what they ordered. We just recently
forwarded Terry an email from a customer along those lines
about the Jubal disc. He is well aware of the delays on that
disc set, he wants to improve it before release. But the point
being we get constantly chewed up by these people as long
as preorders are out there. It puts us in a very bad, unusual,
and uncomfortable situation. The entire time a preorder is
hanging out there, we are in stress. We are greatly relieved
when we finally have the discs in hand, but then you have the
monumental task of shipping tons of them and keeping it all
 straight.

That exact phrase is said about every Terry release since HD!

I got a copy from Radrockers for maybe $8 or something. I would have probably gotten it as a gift from a relative from the DA webstore, full price, if they had had it in stock though.

     | Yeah the Summer '04 thought was because we thought
we had all the footage there was. It turned out we didn't.
Which meant some re-editing. It pushed the date back but
the release will definately be better for it.

 Zoom Daddy, possibly...when? Don't know.

     | The band should have another rough-edit in hand any day
now.. it's not complete or finished by any means, but it's
a lot closer than what they saw previously.

The main work that is left is just rearranging some of the
segments and reworking some of the interview stuff.
