Mutt Has Arrived In Missouri!!! |
|
Just opened it and stuck it in. "If You Want To" is now on and it is sweet...
Jeffrey K - what service! I ordered late Monday night and here it is.
Other independent companies should take notice - you do it right every time.
Packaging is top rate and professional.
The production is fantastic - this does not sound like a "quickie" record on a low budget at all.
Track 2 is on now "The Lust..." sounds great. I will give a full review after I have actually heard the whole thing.
Mike, Derri, and Terry - thanks for making us some more music. It's like having old friends stopping by for a visit.

Unfortunately, as we've seen over and over again, it
doesn't really matter how fast something is sent. You have
to hold your breath and hope the USPS is fast too.

After reading your post I thought I might find mine in the box Thurs. evening but no luck. It did show up Friday though. Durn good service! Thanks JK and Lo-Fi!
It is indeed a sweet sounding album. I enjoy the way they traded out vocals on each other's songs - I thought it was done in good taste and to good effect. Harmonies are dead on as well. Overall very good sounding CD. If you haven't already ordered this one, don't wait 'til it's too late!

As an international guy, the DA folks have have a couple of occasions to have to reship things - which glows with warmth for all concerned. But the king of bad service is UPS - period. Hosers and wankers all! Unbelievably bad service.
So far I'll still put my money on the ol' USPS. Long live Cliff!

Definitely true... we used UPS exclusively for a little
while. It was actually fine for a while, but eventually
we started noticing an increase in lost packages and
slow arrivals.
Things have improved greatly since we started
working directly with the USPS... still a bad spot
in the road every now and then, but its a huge
improvement over UPS.

Got another UPS story to add to the pile....
We used UPS to send some CDs to the guys in
Canada... on the same day, Mike Roe had some
CDs shipped to them from another location as well
- also through UPS. We paid extra to get a
*guaranteed* arrival within two days. Well, for
who knows what reason... UPS received both
packages in Canada and immediately locked them
safely inside their warehouse for safe keeping
(which doesn't reopen until Monday). No phone
calls to the guys to pick them up... no attempt to
deliver them... nothing.
We will hopefully all get our money back, but
unfortunately, the guys are short on product
for their Canadian leg.

So they run the tightest ship in the shipping business?
Like the Titanic or something?

They actually had NO product left by the time they got to Toronto. A guy had to drive in from Niagara Falls (couple hours away) just so they'd have cds to sell. Of course, no Mutt, but lots of other things from the four "senior" bands and the Dogs. It was really disappointing to everyone there that it wasn't for sale, I'm sure they missed out on at least thirty sales because it wasn't there. Oh well, I guess that's the way it goes...

I hear Mutt was locked up in a UPS warehouse for the weekend.
