The way things have been going so far this year I was beginning to believe we just wouldn't get to it but thankfully things worked out to where we were able to get something together. Hopefully switching songs is allowed (as well as being a pretty infrequent lurker here......). Been to BD's site and sampled the clips that are there. From what I've heard we ought to have a pretty interesting mix again. And once again I also have an awe-filled appreciation for those of you who are whizzes(?) at this recording thing. What patience you must have..............
Looking forward to hearing the full versions.

Hey folks. Long time, no type.
So, when is this baby gonna be ready for PayPal? I have to place my DA DVD preorder this weekend (after I get paid, 'natch), so I'm trying to get my ducks in a row.
MNF sounds terribly exciting and I wish I could have pulled that "Soon" multi-person contribution together. Sadly, my keyboard just couldn't eke out the right "sound".
While we're on it BD, we have a new manager at work and she's been giving us all kinds of hours. I never see the difference in my checks though... What's up with that?!
As for the Mike Roe collection, I'll put in my bid for "Treasure In You".
My CD was finally finished and released, much to the overwhelming cheers and accolades of no one. Cry for me Argentina. And here's some trivia for you DA-Heads: I named the disc "The Look and Social Discomfort".
Finally, I won $25 at a local Karaoke night (oh, the humanity) doing America's "Sister Golden Hair". Next stop, the stages of Vegas, free drinks, a dream and granny panties. Lots and lots of granny panties.
It's not unusual to be loved by anyone...

I'm still paid by the hour luckily so when the hours go up I do see a small change in pay. Of course more of my money goes to taxes too.

BD,
We are going to see what we can do with those vocals in the next two days (we've been trying real hard, but so far we don't have any good takes). I hope you don't mind downloading those tracks off the Web... We'll have'em up when they're ready. Otherwise, they will difinitely be late.

Or am I blotting out the dimness?
Either way, "The Look and Social Discomfort" can be checked out at the addy below. I like it, so I guess that's the important thing.

But it'll be nice to hear all the DA contributions when this deal's buttoned up. Can't wait for December!

Just let me know when you have them done
BD |
Just finished the vocals today (unless we have the time to add a little something extra). Adam's going to be working on mixing them down and mastering them, but it just happens to be a very busy weekend for him... and me. We'll see if we can't get them up by Saturday, and if not, Sunday. If you want some rough mixes, we could send those out right away.

Still no sign of the camcorder tape of Jevon and Theo? Oh the mail, I hate the mail. 3 - 5 days they say. Two weeks ago.
