Okay, how cool are these guys? I'm reading the fine print on Hammers and Nails, the Mark Heard collection of demos, and there in print our the boys.
So, what's the connection boys? Curious to see how far and wide your influence is on good music?

Hmm, didn't expect to get our names in that one (we're still waiting on our copies... those darn mail order people!)
Back in the old days... (or mid 90's, anyway)... we did a number of projects with Fingerprint to raise some money for Janet & Rebecca Heard - one of those projects being a CD called Mystery Mind. We were building towards the release of a full length collection of demos, which of course eventually turned into Hammers and Nails. At that time though it was called She's Not Afraid. Mystery Mind was originally planned as a 'sneak preview' of the full She's Not Afraid collection, which was supposed to be released soon after. I think things temporarily fell apart when Fingerprint was unable to secure distribution for the full length project.
Well, anyway, fragments of Mystery Mind ended up on the new Hammers and Nails collection, so I guess they just credited us for that work.
I'd also encourage everyone to get the new biography of Mark (also called Hammers and Nails). Just finished reading it and its definitely worth the money.

I have had Mystery Mind. I got Hammers & Nails, the CD, last week. I ordered the book and am just waiting for it to arrive.

This thread is funny. I somehow missed Mystery Mind. I'm kicking myself (ouch! ouch!) - I have Hammers & Nails, and it is cool. (ouch!)
