I gave it a shot, hope this works for you.
The numbers in parenthesis are the fret of the high note so for Dmi(5th) play an Aminor bar at the 5th fret... but you knew that, I just don't know how much detail you want. Those numbers are shown just once for each chord... and can be deleted and completely ignored. But G(7) is a "D" played at the 7th fret while G7 is a G seventh chord... good luck, feel free to make any corrections. I had to insert periods to space out the chords to be somewhat close to the timing with the lyrics. Chords strung out past the end of a line change before the next lyric line starts. You'll hear it on the recording.
The whole song Terry simply plays the bottom 4 strings arpeggiating each chord, sounds like a lullaby.

With the Tired Eyes of Faith
By Terry Scott Taylor

C(8th).........Dmi(5th)
There's your hope
....................C
Nailed to the cross
..................Dmi
There's your dream
..................C
Buried in the ground
................Ami(5th)
Here's your body
..............................Emi(7th)
Battered, bloodied and broken
...................Dmi
Here's your peace
......................................................G(7th)
Teetering on the edge of the world
..............................................Ami............E(7th)
You're kneeling somewhere in the middle
....................Ami.............D(5th)
Of the passion play
...................................Dmi...........G7
But with the tired eyes of faith
.....................................C
You'll see your resurrection day

(second verse same as the first:-)
Feel the dust
Clogging up your veins
There's your secret
Burning in the fire
Here's your heart
Cold, lonely and desperate
Here's all creation
Groaning for the day of deliverance
Your name is carved here in the headstone
The sky is thick with birds of prey
But with the tired eyes of faith
You'll see your resurrection day

C..............F(5th)
Resurrection day will come
.......................C
As surely as the rising sun
......................Ami
Death will fight a holy war

But it will live no more
...............D7..........................F
Love will even the score
..................C
Resurrection day

(third verse same as the first:-)
Here's your trust
Betrayed with a kiss
There's your courage
Thrown to the lions
Here's your soul
Soiled, tattered and thread bare
Here's you love
Cast out and shunned like a leper
You're kneeling somewhere in the middle
Of the passion play
But with the tired eyes of faith
You'll see your resurrection day
You're kneeling somewhere in the middle
Of the passion play
But with the tired eyes of faith
You'll see your resurrection day

Dear sondance,
In the words of St Thomas Aquinas etc...

Somebody on the DADL also supplied a variation similar to yours, I'll try to post later, for the record.
Not being a guitar player I have no clue which will work better.

did you mean, "All the efforts of the human mind cannot exhaust the essence of a single fly."

or "It is requisite for the relaxation of the mind that we make use, from time to time, of playful deeds and jokes."

or "If forgers and malefactors are put to death by the secular power, there is much more reason for excommunicating and even putting to death one convicted of heresy."
