I fall into the trap of "Why didn't they do this" or Why didn't they do that" on every DA, LD, SE, TST cd. I try to keep it to myself, but sometimes it slips out, and then later, after I've heard the cd for a while I regret it.

Amen Theo, who loves ya baby!

I think I'll make a disc with that track list now, and then try to imagine how the new versions may sound.

Let me ask this (aiming towards the last part): Why would one want to remake a song if it was s--- in the first place? Huh? I wanted SO badly to play Elwood P. Doud on stage because it was my fave Jimmy Stewart role. Do you think I did BETTER than JIMMY!!!!!!!??????? Of course not!! Do you think the audience of that time (circa 1980) appreciated the performance? of course they did. Stupid thing to bring up against a new release that hasn't yet been released.

As for not including an AA tune? Who knows why? I don't and neither does anybody but the Dogs. To dig into criticism when the DAmb thing hasn't even been released yet-- pfffffffffttttttttt!! Gas bags!! That's my response! Gas bags!!!!!

Good gosh! The Dogs put out this cover album from their HEARTS! HELLO?! Take it. Enjoy it. And if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. That's what MY mamma taught ME!!!

"I" can't WAIT!!!!!!!! for this release. Sounds truly refreshing.

Now go have a nice weekend, ya'all!!

Well I have the question "Why no Adam Again" when after al they said they would and they asked for requests?

but it's not a big question to me one I can wait for someone to tell me and not ask it unless (like now) it comes up in conversation.

I'm pleased with the track list. Not because it's the songs i want - but because it's the songs the dogs want.

Not heard any particular reason from anyone, but who knows.
It's possible that they just didn't get any recorded that they
we happy with, or maybe they couldn't decide on which song
to take on, who knows. There could be a million different reasons.

It's possible they didn't think they could do one justice when they
would have to learn it first, I mean we've all watched them struggle
through Gene's parts on the Dogs songs. It would be that much harder
to learn the music, and words to a Adam Again song and do a nice
enough job on it to put it with all these songs they've been performing
for years and know really well.

I think it would of been cool, but if they didn't decide to do it,
then thats what they chose.

I can't wait to hear what they did record, hearing them all have
vocals on these various songs will be very cool. Should be a very
beautiful album.

As for me, I can't wait for the new release. The track list sounds great! If it's from The Dogs, it can't be bad!

BTW, we'll be gettin' it on June 30 (since they will have some on the tour and we will be seein' them in Knoxville that night!)

I thought I was gonna take it for preaching the heat! Whew! I got off easy.

As for you, Pedantic! You have a legit question, and you're not griping. (like i'm the gripe police or something) HA!!!!!!!

But, just for the record, i've no problem with questions. It was the LD thread that was complaining right off the bat.

I can't wait for this album!!!!!!!!!!!

To be fair, I'll be bringing my $15 with me to the Essex Fells, NJ show on 7/8.

I just don't know whether I'll be SPENDING it yet....
