So, can we assume that upping the pledge an additional $5.00 gets the vinyl in the upper tiers too? The offer seems to stop below the $150.00 mark

Are the guys thinking about releasing a few of the tunes for download via Noisetrade? I know for myself, it's been my new primary channel for my music purchases (other than DA/Choir/77s, Bill Malonee) web-sites . I've actually bought more "unfamiliar" music by actually being able to listen than simply buying only "safe" choices.
To quote Derek Webb, one of Noisetrade's founders,
"If I can sell 20,000 records at 10 bucks that's short-term money. Somebody comes to iTunes and buys my record for 10 bucks, that may be the only transaction I have with that person. ... I don't know who they are, I don't know how to find them again, I have no way to interact with that person again beyond that one transaction. "

Audiori J - in respect to age, it would be interesting to find out the median age of the DA fanbase. Like how many current fans were actual teens (or younger) in the 80's when DA gave us the Chronicles or were most like me, already married and over thirty by the time they released Fearful Symmetry.

Just want a little clarification as the offer list is a little different from other Kickstarter campaigns I've participated in. Is this a situation where each level includes the rewards from the lower one or are there unique rewards for certain $$ amounts (i.e., T-Shirt for $100.00 but not $150.00)? Would like to know as some of the goods from lower levels interest me more than some in higher ones (if I am reading the rewards correctly).
P.S. Thanks for doing this.

Wasn't sure if the guys would be selling at next week's Lost Dogs concert at Dean & Tami's basement-o-sound so I ordered mine today. Looking forward to seeing how Terry rocks a comic book.

Sondance - I hear you. As someone who traveled for years drumming for a Gospel group, what we played was so far astream from what came out of Daniel Amos in 76 (I quit the group in 1975). Never an original song but very derivative of the "hierarchy". The smaller groups waited until the Oak Ridge Boys, Andre Crouch or Imperials made a song popular and then we copied it at the churches at which we performed, I mean "ministered". I still hear "Jesus is Coming Soon" and "The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power" in my dreams. Looking back I realize how really different times were for Christian music. Every weekend (Friday - Youth Concert, Saturday - Hymn Sing, Sunday - Worship) we'd traipze out the catalog of Bill Gaither, Lanny Wolfe, Mosie Lister, Dottie Rambo and Andre Crouch songs. Half the time, I either used the altar as a drum stool (due to space limitations) or sat the concert out as a lot of churches didn't realize that drums were being added to the solo piano and the kindly Deacon would inform me of "policy". No matter, I was along for the "cool" factor, a lame attempt to appeal to the "young people". I was the only one who had hair over my ears. I look back and marvel how far we have come and how albums like Daniel Amos were so instrumental in changing things. My entire album catalog changed from nothing but Couriers, Oaks, Happy Goodmans, Eastmen, Cathedrals and Imperials to anything being put out by Maranatha and Word. It was life-changing.

Is there been a definitive line-up for this DA reunion yet? So far, I only heard of a three-man combo. Of course, I'm 55 and I may have missed something.

I converted to MP3's a few years back. Got a terabyte of songs sitting on a Western Digital drive (plus a backup). I carry around two Ipods at all times. One with an eclectic mix of stuff and another totally devoted to everything TST (Eddies, DA, TST, Lost Dogs - and all the bands any of thoses guys were in). Even converted my old cassettes, including the Rapsures, using one of those USB devices. However, my job allows me to listen to 8 hours of music a day.
My biggest issue with going all MP3 is that Apple STILL hasn't figured out why in "shuffle" mode, certain songs always play and others never make the playlist. It's really odd. Ipod seems to really love Iron & Wine and anything Counting Crows.
