I just got it and I've listened to about a half a minute of each song so far, but I have to say it sounds FANTASTIC! You did a great job on this one fellas. The packaging is superb. Now I have to go listen to the entire first disc. I'm saving the second disc for tomorrow.

USPS tracking says that my Shotgun Angel CD is 'out for delivery'. I'm waiting by the door. Okay, not really. But I am excited.
I have the previous CD version to compare it to:

Timing is off for me. I just bought a new 27" i7 iMac AND my phone just died, so I have to switch carriers because I want an iPhone, so that's two new iPhones (one for the missus) I gotta buy as well. Since we don't carry a balance on our card, this would stress test out ability to pay everything off. So, it's the cheap one for me. Hopefully Terry will do it again - though a song about me would be about 15 seconds long anyway.

Thread: New DA |

I remember hearing that for some reason the release of Motorcycle was held up and that gave them extra time to tinker with the songs. Motorcycle is my favorite DA album. So Ritchie, you and I are in the minority about this.
Don't get me wrong, Alarma is my second favorite DA album and it's worlds apart from Motorcyle. I guess I just prefer having every hair in place and checking to make sure a dozen times.

Another thing to remember is MBD if on vinyl would be closer to being a triple record or longer and albums like BibleLand and MotorCylcle would be double albums as would Outdoor Elvis. |
I would love a triple record of MBD on vinyl! Who's with me? Not 500 of us? Guess it'll never happen...
|
I would third that except that it would likely cost $100 bucks or somesuch.
Or nonesuch.
Or mincemeat.
Mmmmm.... mincemeat. |
Yup.
Easily $100. |
I figured it out, it will be a DA record player for you vinyl lovers.

I'd be satisfied with demo versions and/or rehearsals of the songs that will end up on the CD as a bonus for the $50 level.

Matthew Ward's albums showed up on iTunes. I've been looking for Toward Eternity forever. (And I don't mean literally 'forever').

I guess if someone bought one of these downloads they could always send Terry a couple of bucks.
Also, I'm wondering if the iTunes version of Briefing... is the same as the CD or is it like the LP. Anyone know?
