Will the new album have ukuleles on it? 03-01-2013 23:28 Forum: Upcoming Releases

Because ukuleles are really big with the kids today, it seems - just one single, full to brimming with uke magic, could push this band into the mainstream once and for all. Tongue

Any promo/distro opportunities presenting themselves? The buzz over Midget seemed to last all of five minutes before it disappeared off the radar...

According to Mr. Pool/Bergman himself, his team was responsible for building a "tunable laser spectrometer" on the rover for analysis of the atmosphere and soil.

Actually, Terry's on record as saying he tends to write "to order", i.e. for specific, scheduled projects, rather than writing songs just for the sake of writing, or just because he was suddenly struck with inspiration. He might have any number of idea snippets swimming around his brainpan, but it takes a budget, a band and a deadline(?) to get him to harness those ideas in song form.

Less than a day in, and already 1/3 the way there - not bad!

I wish this was happening at a time when I wasn't flat broke. Can I pledge my Steadicam?

Nope - that's the Taylor (hah!) Terry played on the tour last year (looks to be an 800-series Grand Auditorium size). The guitar being sold is a Guild with a jumbo-size body (much larger), and doesn't have a cutaway. Apparently Terry likes the Taylor better (which I can totally understand! Big Grin )
