i don't want to belabor this or anything but, whoever wrote the Headlines thing/press release deal on the homepage (and i'm just thinking off the top of my head here) wouldn't it have made more sense to, instead of saying "...new bassist Paul Averitt..." saying "...touring bassist Paul Averitt?
just a thought. the reason i ask is that i have entire families tackling me in the street and demanding to know if i've left DA.

hi folks -- i'd like to make something clear since there has been enough confusion about it that i get emails and facebook messages about it.
i have not quit the band -- i just can't tour because of day-job obligations. these guys know they can't get rid of me that easily.
if DA records again, that'll be me you're hearing

from sondances link:
"Creativity is akin to insanity, say scientists who have been studying how the mind works.
Brain scans reveal striking similarities in the thought pathways of highly creative people and those with schizophrenia.
Both groups lack important receptors used to filter and direct thought.
It could be this uninhibited processing that allows creative people to "think outside the box", say experts from Sweden's Karolinska Institute.
In some people, it leads to mental illness. "

did you catch that last sentence? actually i think the schizoid part fits berger more than the "creative" part.
