"Bass players do not matter!" -Tim Chandler
Nice quote. Mind if I borrow it?
Finally got DSL, so msg boarding ought to be easier.
Good luck on your show January 6th, Dennis.
Our family will be at Disney World 1-8 Jan 05.

I have digital photos, but am not sure how to post them...
Great "covers", funny dialogue and a great medley of several LD favorites at the end. I wish I could get a recording!

I am here now (more correctly at the Holiday Inn Express in Galesburg...free high speed internet..). It's Friday.
Working at Radrockers for Mike Delaney and looking forward to VOL and the Lost Dogs tomorrow night.
Relient K was very impressive last night. You can really feel that guys heart in his music. (My kid's band, but it was thoroughly enjoyable).
Interesting reading can be found (in retrospect) at the beginning of this thread, after seeing some of the bands. POD is playing at the Main stage in between VOL and the Dogs...Should I go?
Ha!
While working at Radrockers, you can the HM/Indoor stage , and it had 4 bands that had music and lead singers that were indistinguishable this afternoon. The deep throated yelling style singing, with lyrics that aren't discernable, is very prevalent this year.
Some people say its age, or that it's just what you're tuned in too...still the message has to be clear or else its just noise. How can noise be spiritually uplifting? Maybe I am getting old.
I agree with what was said earlier in this thread, that C-Stone will probably lose more of its diversity without pulling in more praise type bands, (Third Day, Casting Crowns, etc.) and bands that appeal to the parents of the kids attending Falling Up (good show), Relient K, etc.
Just some observations.

Get out on the 6th and here us play
It'll not only make you feel good, it'll make your day
We know and understand we'll never be rich and famous
The reason is, we're playing the songs of Daniel Amos

At least he hasn't been speaking like this at the practices!

Now, what could be different at a family show...hmmm.
Doing some things of off Neverhood/Imaginarium or TST children's works (Harry Whodunit of Fruits of the Spirit)?

Also, we are playing again at The Dreamcoat Cafe in Stillwater on December 6 at 8:00 P.M.
Hope to see some of you there!!

Hey, we can start earlier....
I'd be there at 730pm.

Thanks especially to the guys at Northbridge Station. A cool place to rock!
Thanks to all those bringing the sodas (or "pop" to you regional types). The balance was donated to Northbridge Station.
Thanks to Dale Urevig for his introductions and verbal bridge work.
Thanks to Sloan Hamilton for doing the sound. (A future Lost Dogs fan...).
Randy Carey for doing the greeting and rejecting the riff raff.
CC and DB for letting me play with them.
Finally, thanks to Daniel Amos!
Solo Deo gloria!

Jiminy - glad to know you guys made it home safely. Thanks for driving 5 or more hours to play for us, yesterday.
Thanks for the kind words in your review of last night. It'll be even better next time!

OK, I went.
It was fun too! And I am glad I went! What a privilege to play such great music with great, uh, good musicians! (yuk, yuk)
Rich...you didn't do your Saturday thing at the library with the mocha...
Thanks Jiminy! YOU sounded great! We should have warmed YOU up!
We'll have to do it again.
I think we recruited a keyboard player for some songs...
BD: I don't think any recording turned out. I recorded a line feed off of the board on my laptop. All too vocal heavy. Verify with CC though.

Joe? Ken?
Hey guys, my throat hurts, and besides I cut my left index finger cleaning out the grooves in my pickup truck bed liner this morning with my pocket knife. On top of all that, my dog (Gimli) will be left alone if I go. May be you guys can get someone else?
Rich? Can you play?
