I think we need to find that bus and I'll lead the restoration to get it appearing as it did back in the day...

If we put it on Ebay I'll bet some DA freaks would send that bid pretty high... Big Grin

Besides those previously mentioned, the only one I can come up with is Starflyer 59. Jason Martin does not have the poetry that mark heard did but he certainly makes moving music. If you havn't already, buy up everything Starflyer 59 ever did.

Jason has some good lyrics, but his real genius is in the music! Cool

Thanks to you Dennis , I'm wanting to check these guys out...I recently icked up a "Tooth and Nail" sampler called "The Nail" for family listening and a SF59 tune was on it..right up my alley sonically!! Big Grin

Lucinda Williams - Rated PG-13, but full of the beautiful, sacred and profane! Spiritually full.

Bill Malonee and The Vigilantes of Love - Shut up. Bill is the re-incarnation of Mark Heard. His is a collection that forces you to seek out every album; past, present and future.

.

Yes....Lucinda's last "World Without Tears" is quite the album..The song in which the "F" word is used is very , very , stirring...One of my top three releases of 2003..
Listen...

And yes Bill..I have quite a bit of his stuff..Probably 15 or so albums. (And that is NOT his entire discography! He is quite the prolific writter. He just keeps cranking them out! I'm lacking "Jugular" , "Live at the 40 Watt", and "Across the Big Pond." Love that catholic brother..

I understand your concern but you are using your own intellect to figure out when God can work..He could take any senerio and save someone. We humans like to guess using our own finite minds.

I saw "The Passion" last night and now I can't help but here those words in my head. If you don't know the song, read the lyrics below and take them with you in your head to see the movie. It was an enhancement I now cherish.

A big thanks for the tip Zipster....
I think I will print out the words to that and go over them with the group of friends I am going to see it with this Sunday.

I listened to as much of it as I could stand. Any chance this one will grow on me? I'm not a premillenialist so I accept the Scripture, but some of the other dialog sounds like stinky doctrine. Even if I liked the doctrine, I don't know that I like the preachy singing and talking. It may work in a church service, but I doubt this will ever get worn out from frequent play.

Steve
why not send it over to someone who 'll take it at face value?
I'll PM you my addy, just give me the old green light.
I mean any CD you cant even get through is not worth keeping is it?.
I have ZERO CDs in my collection that I "cant stand"

Hey wait!!
I don't have that one. I'll give you more than jiminy for it!! Shocked

I would not buy one..
DVD is great , if I want to listen to audio only I'll make a CD....Which I don't see myself doing anytime soon...I've never been a "live concert" fan unless you can see it , with the exception of some: "Creams Farwell Concert" , "88" , "San Quentin", to name three... just being honest..
