We should have it up any day now.. the order is in and we're just waiting on CDs to show up.

Any word on my order that I placed (4 weeks ago) for K&I and MBD?

I grew up in southeastern OK, Pushmataha County, Clayton, Nashoba, Snow. Small towns before I left for college. Are you a native to OKC? An import?

I'm about as native as one could be who wasn't born here. Been here since I was 3. Grew up in Ada, but have spent the last 15 years in Oklahoma City.
I'm guessing I was one of the few teenage DA fans growing up in Pontotoc County. Where do you live now?

Good morning, Bob. There is at least one other rabid fan in your fine state. K9 moved there just a couple of months ago. He is a minister and has been too busy to post much lately.

A Rabid K-9, huh? Nice touch!

I don't think it's you. Maybe Tim just didn't like Doppelganger.

Hey guys. Oklahoma was never on the cutting edge of CCM, but there must be some TST/DA/LD/SE fans out here. Stand up and be counted!

i'll tell you what i DON'T like. i can't listen to my playing on vox, i just sound like i have no idea what i'm doing. and when i listen to bibleland, (a record i like a lot although i realize there are many who don't) on some of the songs i just sound way over the top--a little (or maybe a LOT) too much.
|
Hmmm...So many great songs to choose from, but Doppelganger is pretty solid bass work. I remember when I popped that tape in (oddly enough, I think a bought it in -gasp!- a mall!) and heard those great bass licks. The drums and bass perfectly complemented each other (you guys were tight on that record).
I hope the band rocks on for another 20 years.

Both were shipped. Like we said somewhere else in this thread, we got a little behind again at the end of February but everything did go out.
|
That's why I love this site. The personal attention they give us! Thanks!!!!

How about from the perspective of their lyrics? I hate to sound judgmental, but the Tuxedo Clad Megastar is no Keith Green. I wonder if Keith ever listened to Daniel Amos. I would love to know what he thought (although I'd be crushed if he didn't share my enthusiasm).
Peace.

We're running slightly behind at the moment.. nothing serious - nothing even close to the problems we had in January. We just had some extra work to take care of in late February that slowed things down a little. We should be back up to date by the end of the week. Your order should be arriving soon.

We know why this is, of course, thanks to Camarillo's explanation on the Sacred Cows liner notes.
|
Sacred Cows - Terry Taylor is a Sacred Cow for me, but I must admit I listened to that CD once and shelved it. It would have been amusing had the tracks been available for free from the net, but I parted with $15.00 that would have been better spent on something like dishwashing detergent.

OK, now I just feel silly. I assumed RadRockers bought the CDs from here (wherever here is). Thanks for the good info Audiori!

Don't want to sound whinny...I just have a suggestion. A while back I bought "Knowledge and Innocence" off the DA Webstore for 15.00. Just saw it for 9.00 on RadRockers. Since the two groups work in concert to promote DA, it would be nice if they would synch up with their price lists.
