Songs for the day after Christmas? 10-07-2011 15:41 Forum: General Discussion

Hi all,

Was looking to complete my TST collection and realized I totally missed getting Terry's Christmas CD! Crying Lo and behold, it was a limited pressing and doesn't seem to be available anywhere. Frown I e-mailed the guy at Lo-Fidelity Records and suggested that maybe they could make it available on iTunes. He said that was an interesting idea and he'd look into it. Happy

He also let me know that some of the songs are available on the Lost Dogs Christmas record, which I now plan to purchase. But still would love to have Terry's.

So all that to say, I'm putting it out there for Terry to hear that there is at least one person that would like to see that made available again.

(And yes, I know there's very little money to be made from iTunes sales, but I think it would still honor those who purchased the limited edition CD, as they have the artwork and the high sound quality).

Thoughts?

"I Love You #19" Question 01-06-2010 12:39 Forum: General Discussion

I've always wondered, what's the "#19" for in the song title? I have had a couple theories over the years...

One was that when they went to register it with ASCAP that there were 18 other songs called "I Love You" already registered.

Or... being that it was on an album affiliated with Larry Norman, and Larry had a tune (on IAL) called "I Love You" that repeated the phrase ad nauseum that the number was added as some kind of inside joke.

Now I don't think that either of these are true, but sometimes I still wonder... does anyone have an explanation? Confused
