well sounds good to me i hope i am not the only one that would like the all of DA albums on vinyl i know it would have to be Limited Editions

Yeah, we're really in a unique spot to do it now.
In the past, there were occasions where we would hear rumblings of reissues.. and then nothing would happen. Then, we'd hear KMG or somebody was going to reissue stuff.. then nothing would happen. For the first time since our involvement with the guys, it looks like it will actually happen. Several things have changed in the last year and a half or two years... for starters, the DA store is in better shape financially than it ever was before - which of course helps fund new releases and tape restoration. For the first time *ever*, we actually have a budget to work with! Terry's in a pretty good spot as well with Catscratch.. and he's also pretty determined to see it happen as well. He's been throwing some interesting ideas our way about future reissues, and digging through old tapes and photos to find bonus material. There are still some issues to deal with on certain titles, but we're all pretty determined to make it happen one way or another. |
this is all good to here, the nex qustion is when will this happen to someone like Randy Stonehill and maney others how do we help them when they cant even get there hands on there own Music and it harder to find old copies of it
every day ...

The qustion is how does one keep the older stuff a live put in the hand of the one that never heard of it, if raido wont play it and a CD is not going to happen then what are you will to do to keep it a live , have we ( the ones that love and rember Christian Music the way is supposed to be) have be come the hands and feet???? ...
any thoughs??????

Older Christian when was time you heard it on the raido, they have at times played a soung on xm ( the torch and the fish) once a while and air1 never once has played a older band like DA or Randy Stonehill and the list go's on and on so veary sad if it was not for us few that do rember the older bands it be like they never where parden while i weep just a bit

started listing to DA in 76 skeptic's song was and still is a grate ( who is ready to wave goodbye) abidin ( love to here the guys do them live) a frend lent me a tape of DA first album then came shotgun angel this was my frist Christian album then found randy stonehill and larry norman.... from me to DA ( then and now) thanks much.. GOD be with you all ways... you may have not started the fire but you where the kindling.....

I have told maney about the DA web site/store what i have done in the past is rip a cd with a few songs on it and put the web addy on the cd and give it a frend that might like DA. i do what i can for the band. Renewed My Membership to the Avocado Club, Mr. Buechner's Dream , When Everyone Wore Hats Book Set Volume Two and so on. i have asked for DA toon's to be played on the radio but if not jars of clay or somthing new they dont wont to play it...
how about you make a flyer that we all can download and post them in church or any store that will let us post them......
