  Catscratch on DVD

Not sure if its been posted here before, there is a DVD out called NICK PICKS 3, it has the "Bringin Down the Mouse" episode of Catscratch on it.
In case anyone out there has not yet seen an episode. It has one episode of a whole bunch of Nick shows, like Spongebob as well. On the cover is a nice big sticker advertising the first time Catscratch has been on DVD.

Question

Cool! So when is the CS soundtrack gonna happen? Big Grin

Doug has said that Nick is very protective over stuff like that.. so it's probably unlikely that we'd be able to do it ourselves. But, I think he said the third year (if I'm not mistaken?) of a series is typically when they start doing merchandise like soundtracks.

Regardless of who puts it out, will Terry and Doug see any royalties?

If we do, they would for sure. If Nick does it - I assume they would, but I'd have to check with Doug on that. I don't think Doug has signed anything over to them completely.

are they on season two now? or is this just the second half of season one?

Posted by servantsteve on 04-06-2006 at16:17:

Maybe they've already done the soundtrack but are still futzing with the cover art. You guys need to be patient- we're dealing with artists.

So, you just ignore us when we tell you thats not whats delaying the DA/JLB disc?

The track list and the interview has been the major delays... restoring tapes, deciding on which old recordings to use, the order, the stories... each edit we've made someone has said "Hey, we should work in that song, or this story" and we had to go back and edit it some more. The artwork just has to wait for that to be over with.... which may be in the next few days. We got a note a little while ago from the place doing the restoration of the new tape and they said it's on it's way back to us.

Gee, Mr Audiori, whatever are you talking about? I was talking about the Catscratch CD. I was just hypothesizing, too, since it isn't their message board. Golly!

Posted by audiori on 04-06-2006 at18:52:

Gee, I assume it's connected to your complaints in the other thread where you suggested repeatedly that the only thing holding up the DA reissue was the artwork.

Whe you burroume, you make an "burro" of "you" and "me."

Posted by audiori on 04-06-2006 at21:15:

yeah, ok.... I'm sure it had nothing to do with it.. it was just a coincidence that just happens to be happening over and over again..

Don't worry, it wasn't obvious to anyone else either. Roll Eyes
