I love Terry to pieces...
...but for cryin' out loud, $152 for that? That's just lunacy!
I hope I never want a CD so badly that I would pay that much for it.

I feel bad for the poor purchaser when it gets reissued in a few months...

You could invest in some of the reissues for the little one's college fund and sell those on ebay in a few more years!

Dang, for that kinda money, Uncle Terry should get some of the proceeds! |
Rest assured that Uncle Terry
will receive some of the proceeds since I am the lucky seller of this the CD and will soon be making a few purchases at the DA webstore from this sale.
The interesting thing about my selling this particular copy is that I was one of the few who was able to purchase one of the 5 or 6 Imaginarium CD's that the audioris had found a couple of months ago. I felt extremely lucky to be able to get it at $20 since I had been watching it on eBay for the last year or so. However, two weeks after I received it, lo and behold, I was up in Terry's hood (Orange County) and there on the shelf of the local Christian bookstore was a brand-new copy of Imaginarium, which is the one I sold.
I was astonished when the price got up over $60 and when my wife told me it sold for >$150, I 'knew' she had to be joking.
From what I gathered about the buyer, she is a Neverhood fan and a first time eBay-er who didn't do much research on the prices that Imaginarium typically goes for (i.e.- $45 to $55).
I do hope the re-issue comes out soon for those of you that don't have it yet. That was going to be where I planning on getting it until the audioris found those extra copies.

I just brought Broken Christmas off that person for $6. Charged me $9 freight to NZ - normally it's $5 or $6.

Imaginarium mystery solved
I just viewed the Imaginarium listing on ebay, and I think I know why it went for $152.
Look at the "2 CD" logo on the spine... see? The CD artwork was obviously printed UPSIDE DOWN! A one-of-a-kind mistake that surely sent the price skyrocketing like a Babe Ruth rookie card...
