I GoT mutt!
ON the p[latter right now.
How can I say it?
Its probably the most toned down versions of some of my favorite respective tunes-
and thats what makes it so beautiful.
If this is elevator music....
take me up!

MUtt-
first impressions-
Its the percussion that makes this so wonderful.
I tip my ten gallon hat to Steve- it has a touch that makes it so smooth.
(the cello doesnt hurt either)
Plus its so cool to hear other voices doing some of my favorite lines-
When Mike says "Set my guitar on fire with a long stem match!"- and Terry follows with "Dance while it burns, And laugh when it turns to ash."
Now theres a modern day shiver for us who were around the first round!
Great New/Old Music!!!!!!!
Viva La Mutt!

I thought the percussion was great in concert too. It was a little loud at times, but all in all it really added musical depth to the whole show.

My first impression was that I wish someone would've taken away that nadaed triangle or zylophone thingy that Steve keeps dingin'!
...after a few listens it doesn't bug me so much. I think there are a few gems among a bunch of nice and interesting covers. I do think I'd rather hear them live like
Via Chicago.
And hey Mike, if you're listening, do a whole solo album in the rockabilly style of It's So Sad ; that song just rocks! Man does it sound fresh! Seriously. Please.

Now that points out something I wanted to bring up! With all the grief Mike was giving Derri about the "swirly, scary music" the Choir play (in good fun I know), what's he doing actually
singing one of their swirly songs???!! I hope Derri got in his licks when the opportunity arose!

Steve is my hero. You think steve plays crazy percussion...listen to the Residents
The percussion makes the CD. Have any of you ever heard of experimenting with music??? That's what steve (and the rest of the bunch) does.

Yeah I love that "It's so sad" cover, even the
"Itsssssssss-ssssso sad.." backup singing is perfect.

Yeah, this is a great version of Like a Cloud. But you all probly already knew I liked this song since Derri sings most of it!

For me....Mutt is .....ok. I actually like the originals (much) better. I would probably really like this CD if I didn't own all the other CDs that these songs are on. The new song is cool. But, some of these were my favorites and I think I was a little let down overall. Doesn't mean I'm not happy to have it though
