i like allot of the new board!

the members list
the ratings
keeping track of how many times a thread is viewed
the smiley faces (cuz I don't know how to type 'em)
keeping track of who has the most posts (that woggy is hard to keep up with)
private messages
typing in color
seeing who's on line with you
being able to click "mark all as read"
web sites and instant messenger information on members
using singnatures (ok that doesn't really work)
and a ton more!!!!





bottom line though..........
it's hard to follow sometimes and I miss the DAmb board too


isn't there a way to incorporate some of these great features into the old board look?

When it comes right down to it. I'll read/post on any board that's here. Just cuz it's the place to be!!!

Ack! The powers that be are stratifying the board. Look at the arbitrary assigning of "insulting" titles to those who do not frequent the boards.

Woggy is a mind peach (okay so she is, so what) come on - ever hear of quality not quantity.

This is an insult. Imagine being a first time poster, and having to be told you'll only get a funky title if you spew lots of rhetoric.

To the old board! Where we'll call you names based on your post! Not on the frequency of your posts!

Yup, still trying to rebel against the "new" coke. Sadly, the taste must agree with most of the DAmbers, as the classic is being left on the shelf.

There are sill a few of us who visit. Even Woggy once in a while. But I think she's too enamored with her new peachy title to visit now.

The "new board" is fun, it's like the shallow end of the kiddie pool. It has lots of purdy colours , and rubber duckies , pool noodles, and the cool blue dye just in case someone forgets themselves (if you know what I mean).

But, if you want to come over to the hot-tub of the DA board, pop over. There are a bunch of us over blowin' bubbles in the water (even Woggy, but hers look funny - and it feels good.

Yesterday we figured out Johnny Cash's initials were the same as Jimmy Carters, and JiMINy CrICKetS, and ready for this CARMEN (the J is silent).

Come on over and see what the fuss is about.

Part of me wonders how long the Townsends will allow this to go on. I think they're having fun with it, but they're much more silent than they used to be ...
