NO... but at about midnight while cleaning my wife
& I were joking of putting mike's caribuo coffee cup on ebay...

p.s. terry really liked my wifes lemmon bars, so she was happy & said we could make this "living room show" an annual event.
I am now thinking of who else to have over...

Who all was there? Did Mike survive the night before, cuz he sure looked tired after the BBQ...........

slappedhard, commander, dennis, jolly, from the DAmb

a few friends

a few neighbors

my mom, my dad, my bro' & lots of kids...

Mike was fine, my father really "got a kick" out of him...

My dad (71) told mike & terry before the show,
that he was more into Rez & Stryper... Big Grin

...well, this is the only negative of the night.

and truthfully I was a little bummed about it...

I had about 15-18 people cancel at the last minuite Confused

I even saw one guy ride by our house on his bike while the show was going on Evil

so, if everyone who said they could come, came, it would have been crowded.
if I knew what I know now I would have just invited everyone who was at the BBQ & let the event just happen...

well, live & learn... sorry, Squidzit next time... Frown

FYI JT & I put this show together on Friday afternoon so the planning etc. was not the best... & I really did not have a 100% commitment from the Mike & Terry till Sunday at the BBQ...

The living room show was wonderful. Terry and Mike did some songs they didn't do the night before, and the schtick was hilarious. A splendid time was had by all. Way to go Dale!

... just got to work this a.m. I am very weary...
I have lots of work to do & better get it done.

I had a great time last night & loved the show. Smile

this show would not have happened if the commander
& the Fellowship of the DAmb had not brought the guys in on Sunday.
so thank you Smile Joe. Smile

thank you JT, Mike & Terry for doing this at such short notice.
Mike & Terry said this was actually their first Living room show.

A couple of my neighbors bought multiple CD’s & I gave each of them
Two free LD cassettes I got form Joe the night before. They were both very
Appreciative & seemed like they liked them a lot.

And of course dennis & I had a MoMMeNT on the couch Wink

Thanks to all for coming.

Sitting about three feet away from Terry and Mike playing and singing their hearts out... wow... wonderful time...

At one point after the show I am sitting in the living room with Mike & Terry Mike is talking about an old Velvet Underground song the 77's used to do live and how much he wanted to find a tape somewhere that somebody may have of it and he starts to sing the lyrics and laugh... a line about getting "hit on the head with a mop bucket" and Terry's laughing and I am just in awe that I am there talking with them both...

Something to tell the grand-kids about! Pleased

I just sent you a scan of the request sheet I humbly gave mike & terry before the show ...

FYI those were the 3 songs I requested Pleased

That's scary DaLe. After the show I commented to Terry that I was hoping he'd have done Southern Front Porch Whistler , and he gave me a quizzical look and said, That's really obscure . I think it would have been great. It would likely have been the first live whistling performance of a song from the soundtrack of a video game ever! They kept commenting on all of the firsts that were happening last night and whatever...

I was glad Mike did "The Lust..."

I would have liked to hear "Ten Gallon Hat" but Bullet Train was awesome with the two of them!

Boggie-Woggie! Smile )

  i would've requested...

  Thanks, Dale!

It was a great time. It also provided me a chance to ask Terry some questions that were on my mind.

Cynthia tried to get them here for Savoy Pizza and a movie, but Tony Shore beat us to the punch.

See you soon.

Sorry to say, but I was at the first living room concert on July 30. It was a very cool night. Tom Gulotta had a "private" BBQ concert. I went to three shows, and although a lot of the material was the same, each was also pretty different. A very good time.

Mike did talk for bit about DaLe's living room show being the first and being some sort of culmination of Terry's dream of doing private shows. I think they must have that one thing like you said DaLe. Or maybe they do that bit at all of their living room shows...
