  heY JimInY

This board will take some getting used to.

I like the ease of the other board, but this one has some fun options if you have the time. and I usually don't have allot of time nowdays .

  I got an idea

BD-
Yes I agree- its a bit sucky at first-
but hey- I just heard YESTERDAY that like 47% of Americans like technical changes.
uhm- they never asked me!
JC

(I tried to color a part of this THREE times- I dont get it!

Posted by BigDork on 03-13-2002 at10:19:

for color there are 2 (or more) ways to do it:

click the BB CODE button to normal mode.

Type what you want to say. Highlight what you want a different color and pick the color.

If the BB CODE is on enhanced mode. Then you click the Color first, Type what you want to say. and then click Close Current Tag.

It's kind of a painConfused

Anyway, it certainly IS fancy.

I've seen boards like this b4.............after you learn all the tricks, they're kinda fun. So, let's see how smart I really am (or THINK I am).
OH, YEAH, BABY..........THIS IS BOLD! Tongue

You hit the "quote" button.........which will reference the post you want to respond to. Otherwise, you can just put the person's name in your subject line.

This color is called "tomato"..........isn't it lovely?

Yes, tomato is lovely, but I like Orange-red, myself I think I may be getting a hold on this, but maybe not. Now, how do you put the smilies in the text?

Yes, K-9, too much! The Spyglass Blue board is like this too, I prefer the simple one... Evil

Posted by Gamgee on 03-14-2002 at09:48:

  Not too bad...

The new board isn't as pretty as the old one, but I do like all the options (and being able to read replies to a message without having to click every single <insert your favorite adjective here> one). But how do I tell if I've read a message before? How will I tell whether I've read every brilliant bit available to read? (Cool, this is in color) If there's an answer to that question, I'll be a happy hobbit.

on the main page, if the button icons are gold, then there are new posts.

on the discussion page (the one that lists the various threads) the folders are red for new messages and yellow for no new messages. there is an icon description at the bottom of that page.
