I was notorious for breaking strings during service.... I had a couple times where I just put down the guitar & said, "I think God wants us to sing a cappella this morning...."

...begs the NEXT question:

What'n the heck is he doing HERE??? Confused

Jerry covered that song on his solo album Making God Smile

  Illuminating on one level, yet....

...still doesn't explain how it got on the DAmbit rather than WWCII (& almost certainly would've been the best song on it)....

Posted by Mark on 12-16-2002 at17:30:

BD, would you care to illuminate us? I'm guessing you just asked Jerry.

I was wondering when this was going to come up... I haven't set up a webpage for his song yet,but I will with a link to his stuff.

He heard about our Damb project and sent me an email asking if I wanted to hear some of his songs. Free Music? sure!

I almost forgot about it...Frown I finally got around to opening the second disc (he sent me several BTW Smile ) some good tunes too) then I saw the DA tune. So since there was still room on disc 2, I asked him if he would like to be on our project. And that's how it happened. Smile )

I'm glad he said OK, I think his version is great!

As far as WWCII, is that done yet? or have they got the song list yet?

Who ended up doing the artwork for the DAmbit?

Posted by audiori on 12-16-2002 at18:30:

Actually that song is in the running for WWC2... it was submitted back before disc one was finished, but was one of the ones left off because we ran out of room.

(We're still inching closer to the release of WWC2... got a new song a couple of weeks ago. We just need more music.)

Posted by brdhsnyrsoul on 12-16-2002 at18:33:

would you consider adding a fan submission or two? some of the stuff for the DAmbIt is good.

I have all the Two Pound Planet, Life In General, & the guys solo CD's. I really like them. I would have suggested Jerry to you sooner, if I would have realized...

I hope being on the DAmb It disc doesn't hurt his chances for WWC2!! Shocked

I would have not put it on if I thought it would cause a problem.
