Thumb Up!

I just got it and I've listened to about a half a minute of each song so far, but I have to say it sounds FANTASTIC! You did a great job on this one fellas. The packaging is superb. Now I have to go listen to the entire first disc. I'm saving the second disc for tomorrow.

The second disc is quite fun. A lot of odd stuff and in between banter.

Got both Shotgun Angel and MBD. They sound great!

I would say though that the booklet has been expanded to include full lyrics and some new artwork. Some will probably want to replace their old version with the new one.

I was pleasantly surprised to see while poking around on itunes yesterday that the expanded versions of Daniel Amos, Shotgun Angel and MBD are now available for download...I think initially it was just the basic albums available. So I happily purchased "Nowhere Is Someplace" and am glad to once again be able to listen to that gem without having to repurchase the entire album. Although, given my completeness disease, I will no doubt repurchase the newer cd version of MBD one of these days when I have some extra cash and can no longer hold myself back.

I also found it on itunes some time ago. . . I was very pleased. I had it at one point when it was originally released as a download back in 2001, but I lost it. So now I am pleased to have it on my ipod!

I also suffer from this disease - even have both releases of Mouse Family Christmas, Dr. Edward Daniel Taylor, All Day Sing, etc. Haven't repurchased the original Daniel Amos yet (although I will) because I already have it twice on CD (Maranatha! version and M8 version) - ce la vie

So now we've done Alarma and Doppelgänger... What's next? I would think Vox Humana, but... who knows?

Any chance that we will someday see a DVD release of the 2011 DA tour?

The only way that could possibly work is if we were able to gather DVD copies of all the videos everyone around the country made and find a soundboard recording and try to edit a mix of shows together. If we used just one show it would probably end up just looking like a bootleg, which is ok as long as it was a higher tier bootleg.

Anyone know of anyone with a multicamera soundboard show?

  Horrendous Disc sonics and swag

Still working my way through this awesome work! I have several tunes circling my brainpan at any given time...

BTW, it's been a while since I visited this message board...HOWDY!

I am certain I have responded this way before; I'll do it again! I have a goodly number of stills from two DA 2011 dates (Wilmington and Zanesville, Ohio) and a few pretty cool video clips. I don't know exactly what the guys at the Wilmington show recorded; it was posted on U Stream.

I also have much better video and stills from two Dogs and one Choir date. You guys can have the lot of it.
