  Yes

"Yes, we want to make this happen".

After 7 years, this would be almost too good to be true. Although how in the world do you top MBD? (Probably not a fair question, since each recording is quite a bit different that its predecessor.)

Posted by tchandler on 02-18-2008 at12:39:

ok -- berger's completely off the rails -- shouldn't we all agree that he(she/it) should be completely banned from the site? doesn't that make sense? and YES I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE MORE MUSIC WITH DA! BUT HAVEN'T WE ALL HAD ENOUGH OF BERGER!!

AMEN!

No No No Tim. It has to be less of you and more of Berger! He is the undisputed king of Bass. You have just ridden on his coat-tails all these years.

Long live Berger!

  Oh captain

What?! You heard him - Berger is clearly insane! Why, of why, did he overimbibe his Windex? He had such a promising career. Crying

Tim has stayed off the Windex, Human Growth Hormone, and anything else that might sap his bass-playing skills.

You guys in SE-land - please just bite the bullet and broil the berger king. He's trying to distract us from the true purpose of this thread...

I listened to The Midget, The Speck, and The Molecule again and it had been awhile. It's good, but it's no Zoom Daddy.

I for one am in no hurry to get the next DA. In fact, This Is The One off MBD probably was really a statement of sorts. I would like to have a new DA, but not if it winds up being sort of a forced thing. Frown

Posted by audiori on 02-18-2008 at18:27:

Don't read too much into "This is the one." Terry said since the release of MBD that it wasn't a swan song.

As for as anyone being forced goes... I don't think you could get Terry to make a "forced" DA or Eddies album even if you tried to force him to.

Either they want to do it, or it just won't happen.

...and as Tim said, of course Terry would love to do another record. He said once that he'd never leave the studio if he could afford it.

I doubt they're going to give up a reasonable estimate price, but I came across this company and thought you'd look them over anyway. A little info couldn't hurt...

well, you know what i mean Roll Eyes

i know Terry would love to record all the time if he could

Terry did feel some pressure, or just felt bad about not being able to get The Midget out sooner, or something like that ?! that is what i meant ... pressure (internally or externally derived) to get a CD out when the resources were not really available to do it to the quality level (or complete artistic vision etc.) Terry wanted when he wanted ... Crying
