if you live in the eastern half of the country, don't waste your time. just cry now.

or the South, which for some reason is being linked with the East............it's a shame that half the band is from the South & they can't book a gig.....................

i don't understand your confusion. we are in the eastern half of the country, are we not? or do you alabama folk not believe in "geography"? Cool

There's nothing east about Alabama. We are considered South. Georgia is east of us, so yeah......I guess you're east Larry, but I'm south. You're on Eastern time. I'm on Southern time (well actually Central)

i originally said "eastern half of the country" are you east or west of the mississippi river? that should help.

either way.................we've been screwed.....those east of the Mighty Mississippi
Mad

on that, we can totally agree. i am not happy about it at all.

So, why did they decide not to do the shows? Lack of funds? Lack of interest? Just curious.

They had to cancel because they had huge gaps in the schedule and (from what Mike said) at least 2 of the shows that were booked, backed out. So they are playing the shows that they can, and completing the rest of the tour out west.

Nobody "East of the Mississippi" got screwed....the band can't play shows if they aren't booked or promoters back out.... Roll Eyes

that's what jesse told me also.

and yes, jeffrey, we are getting screwed. but by promoters who cancel shows, not by the band. i know it's not their fault. and it's hard to get last minute december dates, so there isn't much jesse could do to fill the gaps...

Thanks for clarifying...it's hard to tell sometimes who is blaming who for what with all the weirdos on these boards... Roll Eyes Big Grin

The Green Room Serenade Why Is The Devil Red?

Well, I'm presently working with Jesse and the guys to make a concert happen in just a couple of weeks (an Andy's Angels' xmas party reunion) in Central Washington.

It might end up being Terry & Mike & Theo, but we'll see! For all of you in the area (I suppose Western Montana, ID and Central/Eastern WA) this will be a totally free concert and we're looking at Friday DEC. 8th (but possibly Wed the 6th).

Stay tuned for late breaking details!

I will keep you posted. At this point it really needs to be Friday!

I should know details by tomorrow, I hope!

Never ask TOO many questions at Christmas!! Cool Big Grin

Posted by Ron E on 12-04-2006 at11:35:

So, details...

Well, let's just say that its like no other Dog show you've ever seen!!! Christmas carols and heartfelt stories are just the beginning!!! There may be something that you will be surprised about but I don't want to post it here in case it should be left as a suprise! They told us all (there were around 100 at the show, pretty good I thought) that we were basically at a rehearsal, and though it was rough at times, it made it seem like a real, "among friends" vibe. Derri was playing a little drum box, with keyboard etc, programmed music anyway... Derri the Drummer Boy I guess now, WHO NEEDS STEVE???!!! They had fun with that, though Steve was definitely missed. All in all, two thumbs up, a terrific atmosphere the best show of their's we've seen.

See you next summer fella's

Merry Christmas!

Anyone else get to see the guys????
