This is one of the first "free" Saturday's I have had since getting back from Turkey 4 months ago....

So as I tidied up the living room I put on "Scenic Routes". Sang along. "Angus McShane" brought tears to my eyes. "Bullet Train" blasted out through the speakers. And the other songs.

What an almost criminal thing it is that these guys remain so unknown. What a great album this was/is!

Best wishes to all involved in any fan tributes for DA, Eddies, Dogs, Choir, whatever. My band used to do "Bullet Train" years ago, as well as "Perfect Blues" but no recordings exist (thankfully?) so I can't contribute right now.

Breathe deep...

nice to hear from you wb

I've heard that Turkey is one of the most exotic place to see in the entire world
hope it was grand for you.

I got my Choirtrib tune all mixed- needs a good ear listen today but I'm on Sched for ya BD..

Posted by jiminy on 11-06-2006 at10:19:

and whoah- 16 days from
"I'll try this one"
- to
"think I'm finished."

thats a record for me.......

.considering I shampooed carpets- had halloween, bought a new sofa, watched grankids- worked- fought with daughter..watched a bunch of TV- and went 300 miles to see Zimmy..

the life of a crack musician (or a musican on .........never mind.)

Hope the tune doesnt sound as rushed as it was...

Posted by larryl on 11-06-2006 at10:54:

i hope to get another guitar track done today.....

i promise it will go out in the e-mail before midnight on 11/7/06

BD is in pacific time, right? that gives me an extra couple of hours.

the last week has been rough.
