Question Tim

what Five CDs are in your player right now ?

Hey Tim and Berger - what's your swing on The Passion of the Christ movie?

Me I'm looking forward to it and hope that it might shock me out of some of my complacency.

I kind of lost interest after Suicane Gratification (liked Eventually quite a bit; didn't like 14 Songs at all). Has the boy finally refound his voice? Say it's so. Tim (the album, that is) barely missed my all-time Top 10, although anything from Hootenanny to Pleased to Meet Me is pretty special.

Hey Tim, Have you heard anything from The Residents??? If so (although I doubt it) what do you think of them.

By the way, Joey started it Tongue

No, I just have "14 Songs". I only liked some of it. Is "mono/stereo" better? What about Chris Mars "75% less fat"? Do you know if that one is any good?

My boy turned me on to 14 songs- I really like it- as in
LOTS!

(but mostly because Carl doesnt..)

honest - I read that AFTER I posted...

jiminy -- if you liked "14 songs" you really should get "pleased to meet me" or one of the earlier ones, if you don't have it.

Sort of blows away the stereotype that Christianity is for wimps and wusses

Posted by jiminy on 02-23-2004 at13:48:

14 songs is my only exposure to Westerberg-

I don't have any Replacements- and dont know their music off hand.

thx for the uptake.

dale, dorf -- totally missed your questions. sorry!

dale -- the last things i've been listening to were the flaming lips and frank black.

dorfsmith -- i haven't heard the residents, but i'm vaguely familiar with their odd history. are they good?

carl -- you're a replacements fan! (there's hope for you!) Smile

It does also go a long way toward explaining why I prefer the Eddies side of DA, dunnit?

Heck, we all owe our lives to Alex Chilton anyway.... Big Grin
