Question Anaheim 85 DVD Question

OK, maybe we've been over this before, but I don't remember...
Who's that guy on keyboards? Not Rob, but the guy in the back dancing around all the time...And who's the guy playing Johnny Jacobs? A roadie?

Posted by dorfsmith on 03-12-2005 at23:26:

If I remember correctly, even the band forgot who the other keyboard player was...unless I dreamed it Tongue

Yeah, we tried to figure out who the keyboard guy was before that DVD
was released but it didn't work out quick enough... maybe if we do a
reprinting we can add his credit on at some point.

The general consensus was that he was probably a friend of someone
connected to the band and was just helping out that one night.

-----

Johnny Jacobs is (I think - correct me if I'm wrong, Tim) Leo Sorentino
(semi-pro basketball player and former road manager for the Choir... as
in "Everybody in the band appreciated Leo..") He was also the
"extra" on the cover of Vox Humana.

I didn't know that was him on Vox.

still don't know who the other keyboard player is -- yes. J. J. is leo sorrentino --- no, he was never a semipro basketball player, but did play on our weekend basketball team, the Stuntducks-- we sucked, and i sucked more than anyone--(i would run into the gym and onto the court directly from my car, still wearing a trench-coat. the other team wanted to kick my @$$.)

I played basketball for awhile after school in the 6th grade.

The other kids said stuff like, "Why do you even play? You SUCK!

Posted by tchandler on 03-13-2005 at20:59:

hi, Mark and dennis --

once, we played Undercover in a full-on 4 quarter basketball game and they completely kicked our @$$. we, actually, weren't that bad, but OJO scored, like, 45 points or something. it was OJO and Chris Brigandi ( of the Lifters) and their road crew, or something.

Posted by dennis on 03-13-2005 at21:03:

Shocked

I never would have guessed that Ojo would be such a jock! !?!? Confused

Ever play The Altar Boys??

Posted by tchandler on 03-13-2005 at21:07:

we OWN the Altar Boys.... wait. what am i saying.

CCM said leo was a semipro basketball player?

Posted by audiori on 03-13-2005 at21:40:

Hehe yeah.. somewhere along the line, we came across that
little oddball bit of trivia about him in CCM and dropped it in
the TimeLine. Don't know where they came up with that..

Posted by tchandler on 03-13-2005 at21:44:

actually, if i were to be honest, leo sucked even worse that i did -- and i SUCKED!!!!

Posted by tchandler on 03-13-2005 at21:47:

actually, OJO and Chris Brigandi were 49 years younger than the rest of us.

but still, we would've sucked, no matter what.

Posted by tchandler on 03-13-2005 at21:49:

on behalf of all of us; we suck. have a great Sunday night! Smile )
