  DA video

Still working on video ideas, etc.
Collecting footage and all that, you know how it
goes.. dealing with big time movie producers, etc.

I uploaded an example of what we've been trying to do,
it's from Cornerstone 2000 and around 8 megs in size.
Not perfectly edited, I did it kinda quick.
If it won't start right away, try later.. if a lot
of people download at once it might use up
the bandwidth.

I might post a couple clips for the Avocado Club in the
near future, so stay tuned.

Thanks to Kevin Shafer, for submitting his footage.

PS: For those that don't know you can right click your mouse and choose "save target as" and save it to your hard drive and play it from there, so you don't have to download it everytime to play it.

That's great guys! Smile )

I love the different camera shots! Make's it so much better than a single shot bootleg.

The orginal idea was to do a DVD with clips from
many time periods.

We could put out a DVD or VHS of one certain concert.
It all depends on the quality of the video and show.

We'll see how this looks after I really edit the whole thing. If anyone has a video of this concert from a different perspective it would help. An up close right
side would be good.

  Hey...that's great!

It looks real good audiori. I wanted to give feedback as soon as I was about 30 seconds into it, but couldn't get my eyes off it to go to the site!

That's the first time I've ever gotten to see the guys doin' a number...except for the little blurp at the end of S&P. It left me wanting more!

Even though I would love to see this entire show, I think a "compilation" DVD would be best (like you've said)...perhaps with some comentary from the band?

Perhaps there could be some typical "bonus" footage/ DVD extras?

That's my input...so, there ya go!

Thanks again, audiori, for the clip. I love it so far!

Smile

yeah! the video clip was cool Smile

ditto on the suggestion about having commentary from the band! i think that would really add a lot.

btw audioris,
i do have daniel amos footage from the last couple years at cstone... but i didn't send it to you because the quality isn't the best. (specifically, i don't have a tripod, which leads to bouncy-camera problems and big-headed-tall-dancing-people problems.) i do have some close-up shots, though. anyway if the need for footage happens to get desperate enough to lower the quality standards, just let me know! Thanks A boys; i should be able to look at it tomorrow

wasn't this the show where Terry was mocking all of us who were staying in our "mud huts?" i might have footage, but i don't know what i'm doing with a video cam.

Posted by audiori on 12-08-2002 at02:31:

Yeah, thats what I would like to see a few clips from
maybe 10 shows or so, with commentary. Only real
problem is right now I have access to about 4 shows of
the kind of quality I am looking for.

I was supposed to get a good copy of "Son Worhippers"
from one of the producers of the film, but never got it.
It would be cool to start with a clip of that which shows
Terry, Tim and Doug performing back in '71. I do have a blurry copy, might have to use it. He did give me permission
to use the footage though.

Tom G has a few that Dave Perry had shot, and we have access to that.

Any footage might be useful that anyone has, I can always use it as edit footage.
