  encyclopedia of ccm

has anyone else seen this?
It's by Mark Allan Powell and it's at Barnes & Noble.
It's very complete.
even has an entry for "The Farm Beetles"

is also has a very long section on DA.
it lists the bands Terry was in before DA.
very cool.
it also has sections on the CCM bands that suck.
what can you do?

Yes, Dennis, I purchased this and even created a thread here about it awhile back. Do a search and you should find it.

I too purchased this book and really enjoy reading in it (over a thousand pages I think!) Very favourable reviews of the artists we all know and love. There are also quite honest critiques of some who are also put down here. (Although the author uses far more tact then we do here- how about subtlty in our attempts at humour folks- in honour preferring one another!)

My only complaint is the few questionable hobby horses(musically and especially theologically) the author rides away on) Oh, and there is no entry for Level Heads if any one cares.

I think it may have a section on Presty Gomez!

He did not seem to kind about "Songs of the heart" or FS, but seemed to like most of the stuff including MBD. Big Grin
