I don't think it should continue to be discounted to the degree that it has. I wonder if Dan can share how much the business the Dogs downloads have done. I would love to have the CDs and artwork, but they are just too much $$ on ebay for some of the older stuff. I also fear some of us may be dead before it all gets re-released. Why can't they be released for download in some fashion? I just don't understand. I would probably pay 1/2 to 2/3 of a CD price to go ahead and get them. I would still probably buy CD re-releases too. ![]() ![]() |

In some cases, the folks we have to get the rights from will even specify *how* we can release something.. if they don't want it available as a download, then we can't do that even if we have the rights to release a CD. As for why the owners themselves don't do something like this... I think its the same reason that most of them won't release it on CD either. They have to be convinced that they can make money off of it or else it just isn't worth their time. But, they're also protective over their investment enough not to let anyone else release it either - unless they can convince them that its worth their time. |
